บทคัดย่อ

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาถึงบทบาทและวิถีชีวิตของกลุ่มชนชาวมอญ บ้านต้นตัน ตำบลแม่ก๊า อำเภอสันป่าตอง จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ เพื่อทราบถึงความเป็นมาของชุมชนมอญบ้านต้นตัน เพื่อให้ได้รับความรู้และความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับชนชาติพันธุ์มอญทั้งมอญในพม่า และมอญในไทย และเพื่อเป็นองค์ความรู้ในการเผยแพร่เอกลักษณ์มอญ โดยเฉพาะมอญบ้านต้นตัน โดยยึดตามข้อมูลปฐมภูมิ (Primary Data) รวมถึงข้อมูลทุติยภูมิ (Secondary Data) โดยมีหลักฐานเอกสารโบราณ เอกสารงานวิจัยต่าง ๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้อง เพื่อที่จะนำไปสู่การวิเคราะห์และตัดสินใจ ในการศึกษาวิเคราะห์ กล่าวคือ ได้เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลส่วนหนึ่งโดยใช้เอกสาร และอีกส่วนหนึ่ง ได้ใช้การลงพื้นที่จริงในชุมชนมอญบ้านต้นตัน ตำบลแม่ก๊า อำเภอสันป่าตอง จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ เพื่อทำการศึกษาวิจัยในครั้งนี้ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ในด้านบทบาท วิถีชีวิตของชุมชนมอญบ้านต้นตัน ตำบลแม่ก๊า อำเภอสันป่าตอง จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ ได้ทราบถึงวิถีชีวิตด้านต่าง ๆ ทั้งความเป็นมา ที่ตั้ง อาณาเขตติดต่อ สภาพภูมิประเทศ ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างชนชาวมอญบ้านต้นตันกับกลุ่มชาติพันธุ์อื่นๆ ลักษณะทางภาษา รวมไปถึงการเปลี่ยนแปลงภาษาของชนชาวมอญบ้านต้นตันและแนวทางใน การอนุรักษ์ภาษามอญ ด้านวัฒนธรรมของชุมชนมอญบ้านต้นตันตำบลแม่ก๊า อำเภอสันป่าตอง จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ ได้ทราบเอกลักษณ์ในด้านความเชื่อเรื่องผีบ้านหรือผีเม็ง การแต่งกาย ศิลปะการฟ้อนมอญ ดนตรีปี่พาทย์มอญ ประเพณีพิธีกรรม อาหาร ศาสนา สังคม ซึ่งแสดงถึงความเป็นเอกลักษณ์ของชุมชนชาวมอญบ้านต้นตัน ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ ทำให้เกิดความรู้และความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับชนชาติพันธุ์มอญ ทั้งมอญในพม่าและมอญในไทย สามารถเป็นองค์ความรู้ในการเผยแพร่เอกลักษณ์มอญ โดยเฉพาะมอญบ้านต้นตัน ตำบลแม่ก๊า อำเภอสันป่าตอง จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ได้เป็นอย่างดี

Abstract

This research has objectives to learn into the role and the path way of life in the group of Mon people at Baan Ton Tan, Mae Ka sub-district, San Pa Tong district, Chiang Mai province for achieving knowledge and understanding in ethnic of Mon included Mon in Burma and Mon in Thai and also to be knowledge base to propagate identity of Mon in especially Baan Ton Tan Mon, has held with Primary Data included with Secondary Data by evidences in old documents, relevant research documents to bring its for analyzing and making decision in researching. In other words, to collect some part of information by using documents and in another part by the survey area in reality of Baan Ton Tan Mon Community, Mae Ka sub-district, San Pa Tong district, Chiang Mai province for doing this research project. This research has found in part of the role and the path way of life in the group of Mon people at Baan Ton Tan that acknowledge in the path way of life as background, location, territorial to contact, terrain, relation between Mon people at Baan Ton Tan to the others race, languages including with the changing of Baan Ton Tan’s Mon language and the guideline to conserve Mon language. In part of cultural of Mon community at Bann Ton Tan, Mae Ka sub-district, San Pa Tong district, Chiang Mai province to know about an identity to believe in household spirit (Pee Baan or Pee Meng), the dress, the art of Mon dancing, Music the Mon gamelan, tradition ceremony, food, religion, social that have presented about identity of Mon community at Baan Ton Tan. This research has given knowledge and made understand about ethnic of Mon included Mon in Burma and Mon in Thai that can be knowledge base to propagate identity of Mon in especially Mon at Bann Ton Tan.
