บทคัดย่อ

งานวิจัยชิ้นนี้มีจุดประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาแนวคิดและมุมมองเกี่ยวกับวิธีการสอนและสื่อการสอน ตลอดจนวิธี การสอนและสื่อการสอนที่สร้างขึ้นและเลือกใช้ในการทดลองสอนจริงในชั้นเรียนหลังจากที่ได้รับการสอนเกี่ยว กับการทำ แผนการสอน วิธีการสอนและสื่อการสอนที่สามารถส่งเสริมทักษะในยุคศตวรรษ ที่ 21 ของนักเรียน ใด้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ งานวิจัยได้กระทำขึ้นโดยเก็บข้อมูลกับนักศึกษา ชั้นปีที่ 4 วิชาเอกภาษาอังกฤษสาย ครูผู้สอน มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเชียงใหม่ จำนวน 50 คน เครื่องมือที่ช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ประกอบด้วยเครื่องมือ เพื่อการเก็บข้อมูลทางด้านปริมาณและคุณภาพ ข้อมูลทางด้านปริมาณเก็บรวบรวมจากแบบการสังเกต พฤติกรรมการสอน ส่วนเครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลทางด้านคุณภาพประกอบด้วยแผนการสอน ของผู้เรียนและแบบบันทึกของผู้เรียน ข้อมูลทางด้านปริมาณถูกวิเคราะห์ด้วยสถิติเชิงบรรยาย ส่วนข้อมูล ทางด้านคุณภาพถูกวิเคราะห์ด้วยการวิเคราะห์เชิงเนื้อหา โดยโปรแกรม Hyper Research ผลการวิจัยปรากฏว่า ผู้เรียนมีความชื่นชอบ และมีความคิดเห็นในเชิงบวกต่อวิธีการสอนและสื่อการ สอนที่เป็นแบบเก่า และเห็นว่าวิธีการดังกล่าวเหมาะสมและเป็นประโยชน์กับนักเรียนคนไทย อีกทั้งผู้เรียน ใด้ใช้วิธีการสอนและสื่อการสอนแบบเก่าในชั้นเรียนจริงในโรงเรียน ทั้งๆที่ได้มีความเข้าใจและฝึกสร้างแผน การสอนที่ทันสมัยที่จะสามารถส่งเสริมทักษะของนักเรียนในยุคศตวรรษที่ 21ใด้ นอกจากนี้ผลของการวิจัย แสดงให้เห็นว่าความเชื่อและวัฒนธรรมการเรียนการสอนของผู้สอนน่าจะเป็นปัจจัยหนึ่งที่ส่งผลต่อพฤติกรรม การสอนของผู้สอนเป็นอย่างมาก งานวิจัยนี้ชี้ประเด็นสำคัญของช่องว่างระหว่างพฤติกรรมการสอนและสื่อ การสอนของผู้สอนในปัจจุบันและพฤติกรรมการสอนและสื่อการสอนของผู้สอนที่เหมาะสมกับความเปลี่ยน แปลงแห่งโลกปัจจุบัน

Abstract

This study was aimed at investigating the perceptions of 50 prospective English as a Foreign Language (EFL) teachers concerning the use of teaching method and materials. The study also examined the innovative teaching methods and materials they created in class, and their actual practices in teaching trials after having been instructed about lesson plans with innovative teaching methods, and materials that provide learners' skills needed in the 21st century. The study was conducted with 50 fourth-year English-major undergraduates studying in the Faculty of Education at Chiang Mai Rajabhat University. Both quantitative and qualitative data were collected. An instrument for quantitative analysis was a teaching observation checklist. Instruments for qualitative analysis included a student lesson plan and a student log. The quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics while the qualitative data were analyzed by Content Analysis using Hyper Research. The study found that the participants had positive perceptions of the use of conventional teaching method and materials and perceived that the method was usually appropriate and benefited Thai students. Also, they applied mainly a conventional teaching method and materials in their teaching trials despite the fact that they understood and created some innovative lesson plans in class. The influences of participants' belief and traditions, on their teaching practices have been found. The paper discusses these results to highlight the importance of the gap between current and expected practices of using teaching methods and materials.
